William Dalton Bishop, 22 of Glasgow, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. He was born in Glasgow, November 26, 1997 to his loving parents, William and Rita Kinslow Bishop who survive. Dalton was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church. Dalton was greeted into Heaven by so many that he loved. Among these; his paternal grandparents, Neal & Justina “Tiny” Bishop, his maternal grandparents, John “Pete” & Gail Kinslow, and his uncles, Rodney Kinslow and Neal Hayden Bishop Jr.
Dalton stood firmly in his beliefs; his selflessness and huge servant-heart reflected his unending faith in his Lord and Savior. His loyalty for those that he loved, and that loved him, was unending. Dalton was a proud alumnus of Glasgow High School’s Class of 2017. He stood strong behind UK athletics and any free time he had, he loved spending it on his mower.
Dalton’s love for life was matched by his love for others; to know him was to know his unwavering love for his parents & sister. That same love that he constantly poured out touched the lives and hearts of so many.

I don’t know of anyone who was more deeply loved and respected than Dalton! Praying the empty place in your hearts will be filled with God’s love and His peace! ❤️🙏🏻
We just wanted you all to know that Dalton truly had such an impact on our family! Anytime he was at our home he would have us laughing the entire time! We cannot thank him enough for being such an amazing friend to our children! Blake truly admired him! Dalton was one of Blake’s first friends when he moved to Glasgow! Geran loved talking politics with him and getting him riled up during the Uk v. UofL games! We will cherish these memories forever!
Praying for you Rita, William, and Gretchen! <3

Our thoughts and prayers are with you!!
Dear William, Rita and Family,
When I try to express our hurt for you…words and emotions can’t seem to go far enough… I have not been
there… He has and He will walk with you and linger with you when that is all you need for someone to do.
May the Holy Spirit meet you….”In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.” — Romans 8: 26-28
With love and prayers,
