Thomas Kevin Riney, 50, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 13, 1969 to Joseph David Riney and the late Becky Ruth Morton Riney. Kevin served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching University of Kentucky basketball, shooting guns, and working on cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Kevin is survived by his children, Cole A. Riney and Anna C. Riney; and his siblings, Joseph David (Donna) Riney, Jr., Michael Todd Riney, Mark Alan (Liane) Riney, Holly (Corey) Conkright, all of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 am Monday, March 2, 2020 at St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and again from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Monday at the church.   1. I baby sat for the Riney kids a lot when they were very little. They were all so cute and I really loved those little guys! This really breaks my heart to hear about Kevin. He was just such a special precious little boy to me. Such sweet memories of them.
