Resided in: Glasgow, KY

Tawnya Lou Durham, 63, of Glasgow, passed away Monday June 20, 2022, at her home. Tawnya was born March 16, 1959, to the late Max Earl and Betty Sue Williams Durham of Austin Tracy.

Tawnya was a beloved member of this community. She never met a stranger and made a friend wherever she went. Like her father, she always had a song in her heart. She was renowned for her love of belting out “Delta Dawn” & “Walking after midnight”. She was saved at a young age into the Baptist faith. Tawnya was a loving, thoughtful, caring individual who would put a smile on any face she met, and her distinctive voice could be heard a mile away. She will be cherished deeply, and her memory will be held fondly by all she ever met.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Katelyn Bolinger (Blaine); two granddaughters that she adored, Glenn Darwin & Finnley Leona; her loving niece and caregiver, Jessica Durham (son Braxton); four siblings, Mark Durham, Trish Rigsby (Harold), Tim Durham(Kim), and Angie Smith; nieces and nephews, Ashleigh Durham (son Gabe), Madison & Michaela Smith, Anne Claire Saltsman; several cousins also survive.

The family honored Tawnya’s wishes for cremation. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 27th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Please share your condolences with the family at www.crowfuneralhome.com.

  27. To Tawnya’s Family & Friends…
Tawnya was one heck of a singer’s buddy, as well as as one heck of a singer‼️ She & I were singing together as children, & later in “SWING CHOIR” under the direction of Rachel Rigsby Depp… THAT’S where we had our BEST MUSICAL FUN in High School…
But the best way I can sum up Tawnya’s life is as FOLLOWS:
Tawnya’s birth name, was the normal spelling which was the following… “Tonya” – When we were in 7th grade, She took it upon herself to change the spelling to “Tawnya” which she kept to the end…
“Tawnya – A “One of a kind NAME”, for a “One of a kind LADY‼️“
