Ruth Ann Woodcock, 78, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Glenview Health and Rehab. She was born June 3, 1943 in Monroe County, Kentucky to the late James Clyde Birge and Chloe Nell Bray Birge. Ruth worked in the laundry department at T.J. Samson Community Hospital and was a member of Philippi Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her precious grandchildren and enjoyed going to the beach.
Survivors include her children, Rickey Woodcock (Alison), Jason Woodcock (Whitney), Sherry Poland (Jeff); seven grandchildren, Madison Woodcock, Brielle Woodcock, Wyatt Woodcock, Chloe Poland, Jackson Poland, Kale Woodcock, Easton Woodcock; and one brother, Glen Birge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Garnett, Rondall, Reggie, Quentin, Delbert, Ralph, and Bill Birge.
The funeral service for Ms. Woodcock will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 28th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery in Sulphur Lick. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F.
