I met Bob about 35 years ago. I became good friends with Beverly. Bob and Connie were always so nice to me and welcomed me into their home. I always remember Bob as having a quick wit and extremely funny. I have never forgotten his kindness. I extend sympathies to Connie, Beverly and the rest of the family. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
I spent many weekends and Summer days in their home and bonded with my cousins.
I remember the breakfast table and the bedtime rosary and that my Uncle Bob hugs and kisses meant the World to me…
You will forever remember your Smile and your laugh!
Watch over me and save me a place at the table!!!!
I pray that God will comfort you himself, watch and guide over you like you’ve never experienced. My deepest condolences

RIP Bob. A life well lived on this earth. God will be pleased to welcome. I will miss you and your humor at our Hardesty Reunions.
To Bob’s Fa.: I met Bob back in 1974 I think when I lived in Owensboro and joined the Knights of Columbus. I went to the 4th Degree in Owensboro when Bob was a state officer and he helped me lots as I pursued office in the council and 4th Degree even when I moved to Evansville and Haubstadt, IN. A very nice person. I will include him in my rosary. May he rest in peace.
I grew up with the Hood family. I remember good times playing with Beverly as a child. Mrs. Hood was always there with cookies. We moved and I lost touch until I ran across Bob and Connie at bingo. Bob was a great guy, full of life and humor. Always laughing and full of quick whit jokes. I’m glad I got to know him as an adult. My prayers are with you. My heart aches for you at this time. God Bless.
I love you guys. I have many “funny” memories from dove hunting, to playing poker, to KofC, to Miniature Golf, to family reunions. However, the best are just visiting and sitting down at table. Thy will be done Father, …heaven is going to be such a wonderful place.
Please accept our deepest sympathies on seeing
the passage of Bob. He was a blessed person who
gave so much of himself in so many ways, and will
certainly be missed. All are in our thought’s and
prayers.

He always brought a smile to my face when ever I saw him. Such a kind person.

Dear Connie and Family,
Bob’s smile was always such a delight to witness. I served on a non profit committee he chaired for five years, bringing together agencies serving the disadvantaged in our community. Bob’s compassion, empathy and wisdom was so needed and appreciated, as he was so committed to helping those in need. His smile was contagious and I know he is smiling down from Heaven now!
