Richard Smith Havener, 61 of 2312 Old Henderson Road died on April 19, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. He was born on June 29, 1942 in Daviess County, Ky. to the late William R. and Mildred E. Smith Havener. Surviving are his wife of 39yrs. of marriage, VirginiaJennyHavener, son: Warren Havener of Owensboro, Ky., grandson: Matthew Havener of Owensboro, Ky., granddaughters: Ashlee Havener and Brandee Havener both of Owensboro, Ky., brothers: Bobby Havener and J.W.Havener both of Owensboro, Ky., sisters: Dorothy Logsdon of St. Louis, Missouri and Mildred Kaysinger of Hartford, Ky. Services are at 1:00pm. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Chapel, visitation from 11:00 to 1:00pm. Friday. Reverend Tim Hall will be officiating.
