Reverend Wilbur O. Kerrick, 88 of 1936 Cherokee Drive died on Monday, October 17, 2005 at Hermitage Care & Rehab Center in Owensboro, Ky. He was born in Daviess County to the late Robert and Fronia Jones Kerrick. He was a retired Minister of the Baptist Church after 63years and also was a car salesman. He was a member of Pleasant Memorial Baptist Church, Hospice Volunteer and a Kentucky Colonel and he enjoyed yardwork. He was preceded in death by his wife Sadie Edna Kerrick who died on July 11, 2002. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Grant Kerrick; son, Bob Kerrick and his wife, Rebecca of Owensboro; daughters, Brenda Story and her husband, Michael and Darlene Baker both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Ronnie Remole, Scott Remole, Jeff Remole, Robin Locher, Chris Kerrick, Angie Peters, Jeremy Travis, Michael Cook, Joy Baker, Katie Baker, and Amanda Baker; thirteen great grandchildren. Services are at 11am. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, visitation from 5 to 8pm. Thursday and 8 to 11am. Friday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro, Ky. Reverend Jim England will be officiating. Family wish that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to; Hospice and Palliative Care of the Ohio Valley Inc., 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
