Renna Jennett Gentry Page, 86, of Glasgow, passed away March 29, 2020 in Corydon, IN. She was born December 1, 1933 in Metcalfe County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Salley Taylor Gentry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce T Page of Beckton Ky, sisters Velma Ruth of Greenwood Indiana and Geneva Chapman of Knob Lick, Ky. She graduated from Hiseville High School in 1952,
graduate of Louisville General Hospital School of Nursing in 1961, as well as a WKU graduate.

Survivors include one daughter, Beth R. Page (David); 2 grandchildren, Jay B. Greer of Chicago and Sarah Greer of Huntington, WV; brother, Howard Taylor Gentry (Wanda) of Glasgow.

Renna dedicated her life to nursing. She was an instructor at the Glasgow School for Licensed Practical Nurses and a Hospice volunteer. Renna was a member of South Green Street Church of Christ.

I had Mrs Page in LPN school she was a wonderful teacher she had a laugh that lit up the room and her favorite saying was “what does the book say”she made us study and study hard she would enter the room with her red fire hat on to announce our fire drills too she will be greatly missed God bless her family at this difficult time

  4. Judy Compton I had Mrs. Page as an instructor in LPN school. She was a very nice person and wanted everyone to learn and be able to pass boards when getting out of school.

  7. When we were neighbors on Meadow Drive our daughter would disappear. We would find her at Reenas sitting on the snack bar eating cookies.

  8. I had her as one of my instructors at Nursing School, we did it by the book , very good teacher and beautiful smile. Spread your wings and fly, you have earned your wings. Prayers for the family.
