Ree Goldman Cook 88 of Glasgow, KY died Thursday January 26, 2006 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Flippin, KY the daughter of the late Gilbert Goldman Cook and Serena Bernice Goodall Cook Walden. Ree was a graduate of Glasgow High School and was retired from the Kentucky Pants Company. Miss Cook was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ, a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 259 and a member of the Barren County Democratic Women�s Club. She is survived by her nieces and nephews who were her caregivers: Nancy and Stephen Botts of Glasgow, Martha and Gary Richardson of Edmonton, great nephew & niece Jason and Brandy Botts of Glasgow and special great niece Saylor Morgan Botts of Glasgow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews she helped raise, Larry Cooke of Daphyne, AL, Ken Cook of Johnson City, TN, Rebecca McCauley of Frankfort, KY and Mary Graf of Memphis, IN; 2 sisters Lucille Veluzat of Cave City and Ruth Hamilton of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her brothers Sam and Harry Cook and Sisters Rebecca McPherson and Roxie Hatfield and her sister in law Kathleen Cook. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday January 30, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30pm on Sunday. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the South Green St. Church of Christ Building Fund, 306 S. Green St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
