Rebecca “Jane” Morris, 88, of Apex, North Carolina passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 19, 2021 with her loving family by her side.

Jane a native to Glasgow, Kentucky was born on March 6, 1933 to the late Young Kinslow and Lucille Hunt Kinslow.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John ‘Pete’ Kinslow (Gail); her nephew, Rodney Kinslow; her grand-nephew, Dalton Bishop.

Jane is survived by her beloved husband, Carroll R. Morris; daughters, Donna Murphy (Mike) and Diane White (Rich); siblings, George Kinslow (Carolyn), Rachel Hoke (Bill); grandchildren, Rylan Murphy (Kelli), Shaine Murphy (Alexa), Weston Murphy (Emily), Jenn White, Shaylyn Murphy, Alan White; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Luke, and Liam Murphy.

The family will receive friends from 11am – 12:30pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, 210 E. Washington St. Glasgow, KY 42141. A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm at the funeral home with burial to immediately follow at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jane’s honor to Transitions Hospice Care and the Alzheimer’s Association.

All those who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Morris in person at the visitation must wear a mask or other facial covering and practice social distancing while inside the funeral home for safety of those in attendance. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed 12:30 pm Saturday, April 24th, where family and friends may visit www.facebook.com/crowfuneralhome to participate in the celebration.

    • I’m a grand daughter of Robert Hunt. I never had the opportunity to know Jane but always heard good things about her. Sorry for your loss.
