Nola
Nola Mae Bivens Schaber, 96 formerly of Roosevelt House, of Leisure Years Nursing Home died on November 14, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. She was born in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Noah Lee and Rebecca Vanover Bivens. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Eastern Star Goel #104, Graduate from Calhoun High School in 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Schaber on July 25, 1983, two Sons, Glenn Schaber in 1972, and James Edward Schlomer on October 8, 2004. Surviving are son, Joe Schaber and his wife Julie of Owensboro, Ky., daughter, Shirley Gilmore and her husband Mike of Philpot, Ky., daughter-in-law, Luvern Schlomer of Kissimmee, Florida, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Services are at 2:00pm. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, visitation from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Tuesday and 9:00 to 2:00pm. Wednesday. Burial will in Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun, Kentucky. Reverend Kenneth Stone will be officiating.
