Maude
Maude Broady Bowles 83 of Glasgow, Kentucky died Sunday December 5, 2004 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Joe Henry Broady and Ora Ellen Wilkinson Broady. Mrs. Bowles was retired from the Kentucky Pants Company and more recently had been an employee of Bowles Print and Gift Gallery. She was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of the 'Friday Afternoon Rook Club'. She is survivedy by 2 sons Donald Joe Bowles and wife Denise of Glasgow and Paul Dexter Bowles and wife Donella of Glasgow; 1 daughter Janet Witcher and husband Marvin of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren Donald Joe 'Jo Jo' Bowles II, Allen Matthew Bowles, Ty Edward Bowles, Brittany Faye Bowles, Spencer Broady Witcher, Emily Witcher Forrester, Merideth Bowles Parker and Lacey Nicole Bowles; 9 Great Grandchildren; 1 sister Gladys Kerfoot of Elizabethtown, KY and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Edward Bowles, a grandson Donald Joe 'Trey' Bowles III and 3 brothers Earl, Roy and Ernest Broady. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday December 8, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin after 4pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressioins of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Polson Cemetery Fund, c/o Waldeen Settle @ South Central Bank, 208 S. Broadway, Glasgow, KY 42141.
