Mary Ruth Van Winkle, 8l of 3502 Chickasaw Drive died on Wednesday at her home in Owensboro, Ky. She was born in Stanley, Ky. to the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Durham Webster, retired from General Electric and M.P.D. also had worked at Ken-rad. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church, enjoyed trips with the golden partners and being with her sisters and son. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Robert and B.F. Webster, sisters; Lillie Oberst and Amanda Webster and a daughter; Donna Gaye in 1946. Surviving are her son; Jonathan G. Van Winkle of Owensboro, Ky. sister; Martelia Millay of Owensboro, Ky. and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 11:00am. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, visitation from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Thursday and 9:00 to 11:00am. Friday. Inurnment will be in Scherer Cemetery in Stanley, Ky. Reverend Bill Castlen will be officiating.
