Mary Elizabeth Free McCoy 91 of Glasgow, died Wednesday May 24, 2006 at her home. She was born in Metcalfe County the daughter of the late Elbert and Rhoda Guinn Free. Mrs. McCoy was also preceded in death by her husband Owen Edward McCoy, 3 sons Jerry Murrell McCoy, Jack McCoy and Billy McCoy; 4 sisters and 1 brother. She was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ and was an employee for 30 years of Edmonton Manufacturing Co.
She is survived by 6 daughters, Joyce Ennis of Bowling Green, Norma Dial of Glasgow, Mary Creech and husband Jim of Murfreesboro, TN, Freda Dugger of Glasgow, Sylvia Cook and husband Billy of Randolph and Janet Dilley and husband Albert of Glasgow; 2 sons Marshall McCoy and wife Joyce of Edmonton and Phillip McCoy and wife Gracie of Glasgow. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 4:00pm Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:30pm Thursday.
