Martin David Warren, Sr. 72, of Owensboro died on December 27, 2003 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. He was born to John Felix and Camilla Beaven Warren on November 20, 1931 in Daviess County, KY and was a farmer with Big Independent Tobacco Warehouse. He had also worked at W.R. Grace for many years. Mr. Warren was also a former Daviess County Commissioner having served 4 terms. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, a 4th degree Knights of Columbus Fr. Connor Council, the Daviess County Lions Club, the VFW post 696 and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Preceeding him in death was a daughter, Cindy Bickett in 2002, a sister, Gladys Bell in 1998, a sister, Martine Calhoun Dare in 2002, and a brother, John Maxwell Warren in 1999. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Rose Smith Warren. Also surviving are 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, Martin David and Martha Murphy Warren Jr., and John Bernard and Diana Keller Warren, both of St. Joseph, KY. Surviving daughters are Stephanie Warren of Floyd Knobb, IN, Tamara Warren of Curdsville, KY and Melanie and her husband Dean Ewing of Jasper, IN, grandchildren, Clinton, Brice and Wyatt Bickett, Lauren, Catie, Claire, Rachel, and Emily Warren, John David, Nathaniel and Camille Warren, Trace, Taylor, and Natalie Ewing, and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Huston Warren of St. Joseph and Leroy Warren of Louisville, and sister, Joyce Warren of West Louisville, KY.
