Mark Alan Love age 54 of Edmonton passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.   Mark is the son of the late Adrie Love and Marcella Boston Love of Edmonton who survives.   Mark was an engineer tech for the Kentucky Department of Transportation.   Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Anita Bowles Love of Edmonton. Two sons.   Luke and Jake Love both of Edmonton.   Three sisters.  Lisa Matthews of Glasgow, Diane (Gary) Scott of Glasgow and Martha Love-Moore of Springfield, Kentucky.   Mark is also survived by his father and mother in law Elton and Geneva Bowles of Glasgow.   Funeral services will be private with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.   Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mark Love.  Please share your condolences with the family at

  21. It was such a shock to hear Mark had passed. I’m glad I was able to get to know him while we worked in Glasgow together a few years ago. He will be missed! We will continue to pray for his loved ones during this difficult time.

  24. I got to know Mark well over the past 10 years working with him. Mark was quick with his words and one-liners and could make me laugh like no one else could. It was equally as fun to make him laugh. Mark spoke highly of Anita and was very proud of his boys. He will be missed greatly.

  33. I got to know Mark when I would see him at Marc Park at the softball games. I called him Plowboy because of his twangy voice. The number of posts on this board shows how highly others felt about him. Mark was a laid-back guy with a great sense of humor. RIP PLOWBOY

  42. When I first saw this I instantly thought of my young teen years . Mark lived not to far from me . We would ride motorcycles all over the country side . Fish all the ponds . Just boys being boys . Mark was 2 years older than me so I kind of looked up to him . Even then he was a shining example of what someone should be . You will be missed my brother . Rest in peace .
