Lettie
Lettie Feldpausch Miles Bickwermert, 77 of 1610 Hathaway Street better known to her family and friends as Mom B, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on Sept.29, 1928, in Daviess County. She retired from General Electric Co. after 42years and was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards with her children and grandchildren and was a sports enthusiast. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ross Lee Miles, Jr., in March 1960, and her second husband, Charles F. Bickwermert, in August 2000; a daughter, Connie Lee Bickwermert, in 1985; her parents, Herman Feldpausch and mary Loeva Keown Feldpausch; two brother, Ernie Feldpausch and Willard Feldpausch; and two sisters, Helen Ashby and Dorothy Miller. Survivors include four daughters, Sondra Ann Miles Johnson and her husband, Richard, Rhonda Lynn Miles Lee, Sherry Lee Miles Orth and her husband, Steve and Jeannie Marie Miles Foster and her husband, David, all of Owensboro; grandchildren Tracy, Michael and his wife, Shannon, Keisha, Daniel, Nick, Lyndsi, Katelyn, Josh, Jake, Jonathan and Rebecca; a great-grandchild, Kelsie; a sister, Opal Clark of Owensboro; a brother, Bobby Feldpausch of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 11am. Saturday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, visitation is from 2to8pm. Friday and 8 to 10:30am. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6pm. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Reverend Freddie Byrd will be officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Owensboro Catholic High School Steele Stadium, 1524 West Parrish Avenue, Owensboro, Ky. 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
