  1. I am very sorry to learn of the loss of Lester. He will be dearly missed. At times like these it can be hard to know just what to say in way of comfort. I have found that the Bible has the most comforting words. Acts 24:15 says that thost that have died will be resurrected back to life. I hope that Jehovah the ‘God of all comfort’ will help you during this time of need. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

  2. I lived next door to Lester and Evelyn on St. Clair Street many years ago, back in the 50’s. I was actually closer to Evelyn than Lester, but had spoke with Lester about two years ago and learned that Evelyn had passed on. Doug, Cindy and Cassandra were just very young children at that time. Cassandra and Cindy it was good to talk both of you today. Hang in there and life will be ok. Looking forward to seeing you.

  3. ON BEHALF OF THE COMRADES AND SISTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INDIANA YOU HAVE OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR LOVED ONE AND OUR DEPARTED COMRADE.OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL.SINCERELY VETERANS OF FORIEGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF INDIANA STATE CHAPLAIN KEISTON R.HOLLOWAY

  4. Sorry to hear about Lester! Was just thinking about him the other day. Remembering when we use to go for visits with mom and dad every year when we were young ! Always loved Uncle Les !
