Leonard C. Small, Jr., 53 of 716 Christopher Greenup Drive died on July 10, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. He was born on August 20, 1951 in Indiana to Leonard C. Sr. and Wanda Rodney Small, was employed by Owensboro Medical Health Systems as Manager of Risk Management, Legal and Corporate Compliance Department Corporate Compliance Officer. He was a member of the Catholic Faith, Chairman of the Corporate Compliance Committee and member of the following committees: Ethics, Patient Service , Infection Control, Environment of Care Standards, Safety, Charge Master; organizatons: Healthcare Financial Management Association HFMA, KY Hospital Society of Risk Management, KY Hospital Associaton Corporate Compliance Committee, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Past Board Member of the Kentucky Board of Nursing. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard C. Small, Sr. in 2003. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Patricia Whelan Small. Also surviving are 2 sons, Jason Eric Small and his companion, Robyn Gossett and Zachery Wade Small and his companion, Ashley Wedding all of Owensboro, a daughter, Vanessa Kay Small of Owensboro, a granddaughter, Macey Lynn Small of Owensboro and his mother, Wanda Rodney Small of Rockport, Indiana. At the request of Mr. Small, there will be no visitation or services.

  16. I was so surprised to hear amout leonard. I worked on 3-2 telemetry and he was the supervisor on nights. He always had a good story and kept everyone smiling. My prayers are with all of you.
