Kenneth Alvey, age 81 of Clarkson, passed away Sunday, January 14th 2018 at his residence. He was born February 7th 1936 in Wax, Kentucky, the son of Claude & Lois Higdon Alvey. He was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Williams Alvey, one daughter, Jessica Alvey, three sons, Pete Alvey (Nina), Tommy Alvey (Tabitha), & Wesley Alvey (Tabitha), three great nieces that they raised, Samantha King, Tamar King, & Julia King, grandchildren, Houston Alvey, Austin Alvey, Cody Alvey, Eli, Sabrina Alvey, Sara Alvey, Holly Grider, Leighann Newton, Crystale Decker, Ashley Deckard, & Amber Fleming, great grandchildren, Kayli Berry, Kaiden Newton, Andrew Newton, Leland Deckard, & Kenna Michelle Jones, and sister, Audrey, Monrose, Gerline, & Marilyn. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death, his brothers, Junior, Donald, & Richard Alvey.
