Joseph E. Mullican of Stanley, KY died Friday October 31, 2003 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, IN. He was born November 3, 1915 to the late William Jefferson and Eva Lancaster Mullican in Daviess County, Ky and was a life long farmer in the Stanley area. Mr Mullican was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed dining out and dancing. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Anna Lois Wimsatt Mullican of Stanley; son Joey and daughter in law Vohnell Mullican of Seymour, In; daughters Judith Keelin of Indialantic, Fl and Jane M. Brown of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren Jeff Mullican, Greg Mullican, Melanie Walsh, Stephanie Frey, Kevin Rudy, Michele Dompke, Valerie Holtzman, Eric Mullican, Burke Keelin; twelve 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Dorothy Settles of Stanley, Anna Jean Heppler of Calhoun, Marie Rode of Owensboro, Betty Neal of Plainfield, IL.; one brother, Bill Mullican of Owensboro, KY; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by one son, Thomas Martin Mullican in 1998. Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Peter of Alcantra Catholic Church in Stanley, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. Prayers at6:00pm Monday. Expressions of sympathy to the Alzeimers Association, 3703 Taylorsville Rd.
