  1. Wayne was all-in passionate about everything he did. He had the busiest mind I’ve ever known. So busy that his talk couldn’t keep up with his thoughts. Love that guy. It’s a shame that he spent so much of his last years without a voice to let his ideas and his passions flow.

  2. Eloise, I read of H.Wayne’s death and am so regretful and sorry for his loss for you and your family. 34 years together is a precious thing. God was so good to both of you to have such a life together. I will pray for strength and courage for you and hope sincerely that you are ok and know that there are many of us thinking of you.

  3. Wayne Smith became our friend when he married Eloise . We loved her and if she loved Wayne, so did we. Wayne was a “Classy’ man. He was a visionary developer, attracted others to his projects and didn’t disappoint.
He was completed with Eloise’s charm, sense of humor, her fidelity to family, and willingness to partner him. They were ‘soulmates’ for 30+ years. Our continued prayers go to Eloise and family for future happiness.
Wayne : Thanks for being our friend. We’ll miss you. M/M Crawford

  4. H. Wayne’s ability to see up ahead and around corners bordered on magical. After hearing his latest idea, presented as only he could, one’s amusement turned to intrigue and then amazed admiration. But by then he was pitching his newer idea.

What a privilege to collaborate with him and his brother,
