Grace I. Ford Goodman, 89 of 4035 Pleasant Valley Road, Owensboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 3, 2005. She was born August 14, 1915, to Robert and Essie Ford. Preceding her in death by her three husbands; James Paris Uzzle in 1941: Henry Frank Dinallo in 1971; James Goodman in 1987; her brothers, Elvis Ford, Ira Ray Ford, Earl Ford; and two sisters, Eva Paris and Virginia Bivens. Grace retired from Bendix Aviation in Teterboro, NJ. in 1975. She previously worked at Ken-Rad. She enjoyed being with friends and family. Her granchildren lit up her eyes. She was very happy about twin great-great grandchildren. She was a member of VFW Golden Partners and was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed shopping. She was loooking forward to her 90th birthday. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, JoAnn and son-in-law, Norman McDonald; a grandson, Grant McDonald and his wife, Lisa; granddaughters, Alana Esther and her husband, Doug, Donna Curry and her husband, Brent, and Krista Velez and her husband, Ron; great-grandchildren, J.D. Winkler and his wife, Kristi, Joshua McDonald, Sarah McDonald, Ashley McDonald, Austin Esther, Marcus Velez, Alex Velez, Lynsey Young, Gabrielle Velez, Nathan McDonald and Isabelle Velez; and great-great grandchildren, Dalten Garrison, Halli Grace Winkler and Jaxon Winkler. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
