George William Sosh, Sr. 53, of 715 Sycamore Street passed away on November 12, 2003 at Bon Harbor Nursing Home. He was born on February 14, 1950 to Woody Owen and Alice Margaret Coin Sosh in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was a member of Nickel Ridge Holiness Church and enjoyed fishing. Preceeding him in death was 2 brothers, James Thomas and Donald Earl Sosh. Surviving is his son, George William Jr. of Owensboro, a granddaughter, Melissa Arnold and grandson, Hunter W. Sosh both of Owensboro. Also surviving are his brothers, Delma of Utica, Sherman Ray and Larry Eugene both of Owensboro, and Orvil Wayne and Grover Allen both of Rumsey, 4 sisters, Ruby Warner of Utica, Reva Mooneyhan of Owensboro, Nelda Marie Sosh of West Louisville and Marlena Hogard of Crestwood. Services will be at 10:00am. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Friday and 8:00 to 10:00am. Saturday. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
