H. FRANCES JAMESON KING RICHEY

H. Frances Jameson King Richey of Allen County passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at Glenview Health & Rehab in Glasgow, KY.

Born and raised in Scottsville, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Elmer & Mildred Lewis Jameson and stepdaughter of Anna Jameson. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, James “Jim” King, grandson Joshua Travis Thomas and stepson Larry King.

She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Gainesville, KY.

Mrs. Richey, lovingly known as “Miss Frances,” was retired, having run the restaurants at Glasgow Livestock Auction and Mammoth Cave Dairy Auction for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Richey of Scottsville, KY; sons, James R “Bobby” (Teresa) Adwell of Oceanside, CA, Patrick Lee (Gail) Adwell of Smiths Grove, KY; stepsons, Jim (Sharon) Adwell of Owensboro, KY and Tommy King of Scottsville, KY; daughters, Teresa Adwell (Tony) Bailey and Panquitta Adwell Lyons, both of Glasgow, KY; brothers, John (DeWayne) Jameson of Scottsville, KY, James (Vela) Jameson of Clarksville, IN and Glen (Terry) Jameson of Scottsville, KY; stepsisters, Ruth (Ronnie) Stotts and Inez (Donald) Hudson of Bowling Green, KY; stepbrother, Hascal Neighbors of Whiteland, IN; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A public graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 at Cedar Cross Missionary Baptist Church, 385 Baileys Point Rd, Scottsville, KY with burial to follow.
