Emma Nicole Hamilton,8, of Rockport, IN passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Emma was born on January 31, 2012 to Morgan Michelle Luttrell. She is a student at Rockport Elementary School and a member of Bridgepointe Church. Emma enjoyed swimming, sun bathing, and jumping on the trampoline; but her true enjoyment was spending time with her family and cuddling with her mom. Emma was able to capture true joy with her beautiful smile.

We are honored to have her memory live on in the lives of others, as she selflessly donated her organs and offered life to many in need.
She is preceded in death by her great grandfather Joseph Kempf, her great grandmother Janie Calamia, and her great uncle David Wallace.
Along with her mother she is survived by brother Kamdyn, her sisters Brinleigh and Braylee, her grandparents Tammy and Buddy Metts and Brian and Casey Merimee, her great grand parents Janice and Daniel Knight and great grandmother Rita Kempf.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and again on Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

All who wish to honor and remember Emma in person at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.

  10. Where do I even start? Emma you were the first to make me a momma. You taught me so much about life that I didn’t even know. You taught me how to love in a way I never knew existed, until I became your mommy. Life was nowhere near easy for you baby girl, but you made it look as if it were the easiest thing in the world. You were so strong. Your smile was so contagious, and your laugh was the most precious thing momma has ever heard. I miss you sweet girl, so much. Life will never be the same, ever again, but I promise I will always keep your legacy alive. I will always tell bubba and sissies about you, and show them pictures and remind them of memories we have together. I promise you sweet girl, momma is gonna try my hardest to keep putting one foot in front of the other. I miss our cuddles so much, they always made everything better and it was my favorite part of the day. Rest easy baby, and rejoice with your whole entire heart, pain free, and momma wants you to run all over the place, play, jump, and talk so much. Until I see you again. I love you baby girl.

  11. This little angel, would light up a room or any place she would go into. When you would look into her eyes, you would see a ANGEL FACE.Honey you’re in HEAVEN NOW, running jumping talking up a storm and I can see JESUS laughing at her. One day Darling, we will all be together
