Also preceded in death by his sisters; Angela Storm and Catherine Harl. He was employed by Glenmore Distillery as a warehouse gang leader and was a World War II Veteran, a member of St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. Enjoyed fishing, camping, UK basketball and spending time with family. Surviving are his beloved wife of 57years of marriage; Marian Wedding, son; Ed Wedding, Jr. and his wife Betty of Owensboro, daughter; Mary Hocker and her husband Danny Sr. of Owensboro, two grandsons; Neal Wedding and his wife Gina, Danny Hocker, Jr. and his wife Shannon, two granddaughters; Shelly Austin and her husband James, Joy Wedding and her fiance Durand Engineer, Great Grandchildren; Gage, Haleigh and Brieona Hocker, Matt, Lucy, Jane and Jack Wedding. Brothers; Leo Wedding and his wife Kate of Philpot, Jim Wedding and his wife Louise of Newburgh, Indiana, Joe Wedding and his wife Rita of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 10:00am. Thursday at St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church, visitation from 3:00 to 8:00pm. Wednesday and 8:00 to 9:30am. Thursday, prayers; 7:00pm. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will in Resurrection Cemetery. Reverend Brian Roby will be officiating.
