Dorothy Marie Thompson Hodgin, 81 of 124 Hummingbirg Loop, died on August 11, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Peta A. and Aline Wagner Thompson. She was retired from General Electric as a tube inspector, was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral, volunteer for Hospice, Help Office, Soup Kitchen, Eurischtic Ministry, Lector, enjoyed gardening, visiting shut-ins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Dalton Hodgin. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Anne Hawkins of Owensboro; four grandchildren; one brother, Anthony Thompson of Louisville; five sisters, Edna Joann Thompson, Helen Trodgen, both of Owensboro, Betty Lawrence of Louisville, Rita Tyre of Tenneesse, Shirley Chrismas of Cincinnati, Ohio. Services are at 10am. Tuesday, at St. Stephen Cathedral, visitation is from 3 to 8pm. Monday and 8 to 9:30am. Tuesday. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Reverend Ed Bradley will be officiating.
