Dorothy Dean Bartlett, 74 of 1007 Piedmont Drive died Sunday at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. She was born on December 23, 1929 in Hancock County, Kentucky, retired from Glenmore Distillery. Her hobbies were collecting Indian artifacts, horse racing, going to auctions, and fishing. She is preceded in death by her parents; Delbert and Rose White Shadwick, her sister; Virginia Abell-1998. Surviving are her husband of 44yrs. of marriage; Johnnie Bartlett, her sons and daughter-in-laws: Terry and Vicki Best of Falls of Rough, Donnie and Melinda Whittaker of Owensboro, Kentucky. Four daughters and son-in-law: Jimmie Jean Black of Falls of Rough, Sharon Bartlett of Utica, Cyndi and Jeff Roberts, and Patty and Rodney Hayden both of Owensboro, Kentucky. There are twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services will be held at 2:00pm. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis Chapel, visitation from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Tuesday and 10:00 to 2:00pm. Wednesday. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Jimmy Bunch will be officiating.
