Dorothy A.Nalley Bittel, 66 of 4505B.Farmview Drive Owensboro, Ky.died on February 7, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on October 2l, 1939 in Sorgho, Ky. to the late Lester A. Nalley and Mary Elizabeth Beyke Nalley. She was employed for 15years as assistant manager at Jumpin Jacks, was a member of the Catholic faith, loved spending time with her children, chasing after her grandkids who referred to her as 'Na-Na', enjoyed cooking, watching Food Network and University of Kentucky basketball. Also preceded in death by her three children, Matthew Mark Bittel, Leslie Ann Bittel and Mary Regina Bittel; four brothers and a sister. Surviving are her daughter, Christy M. Bittel of Louisville; two sons, Eric L. Bittel of Owensboro and Aaron M. Bittel of Tell City, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Mason, Logan, Alex, Kayleah, Zachary, Keyara, Kayla and Jessica; three sisters, Gertrude Nalley of Louisville, Wanda Feller of Louisville, Camillia Baker of Masonville. Services are at 10am. at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, visitation is from 2 to 8pm. Friday and 8 to 9:30am. Saturday. Prayers will be said at 6:00pm. Friday at the Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. The family request expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to; American Heart Association, Kentucky Region, 240 Whittingotn Pkwy., Louisville, Ky. 40222.
