Donna Fay Green, 58 of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born February 20, 1962 in Owensboro to Nelda Fay Deno Bickwermert and the late Don Edwin Green.
Donna was proud of her work, employed by Daviess County Public Schools.

She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. Donna enjoyed spending time outside grilling and barbequing, and gardening, tending to her flowers and plants. She loved the beach, shopping and spending time with her family.

Aside from her father, Don, she is preceded in death by her grandparents.

Those left to cherish Donna’s memory is her mother Nelda Fay Deno Bickwermert; her siblings, Sandy (Wayne) Hicks, Stevie (Katie) Dupin and Holly Dean (Garrett Andreen); and a step-mother, Barbara Green, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Private funeral services for the immediate family will take place Thursday, January 7, 2021. Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery.

Family honoring Donna at the private gathering are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.

  5. Faye, Sandy, and family, I am so sorry to read about Donna, we no longer live in Owensboro, have lived in Shelbyville, ky for 3 years but I keep up with things in Owensboro thru the computer. I have memories of Donna as a little girl and she would be at Mr. and Mrs, Deno,s house and sometimes would run off and come down to our house, she was very little at the time but a cutie. I can,t imagine what you must be going thru but I will keep you all in prayer that God will comfort you during this time, I am sure you will miss her so much, she was a pretty lady.   8. This beautiful lady was one of my first friends upon moving to Owensboro. In our small neighborhood there was about 10 of us the same age or close, we ran together and played and just had fun. Looking back on those days, I realize they were some of the best times of my life. Donna thank you for the memories and may you RIP.

  10. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Donna was my neighbor for 10 years and we talked often and established a friendship during that time. I’ll miss our talks and seeing her out in her yard.
