Donald Max “Woody” O’Haver passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his residence in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 81. He was born on Tuesday, July 16, 1940 to the union of Arthur Richard O’Haver and Laverda Beaman O’Haver.
Those left to cherish his memories include: the love of his life of 31 years Maggie Narron O’Haver, daughter Rhonda Stevens, daughter Teresa Hoskins and husband Glenn, son Willie Collins and wife Lorena, son John Collins and wife Kim, 2 sisters Janet Ernst, Linda Grounds and husband Phillip, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son Timothy Collins, daughter Cynthia Westhafer, grandson David Hoskins, father Arthur Richard O’Haver, mother Laverta Beaman O’Haver and one sister Patricia Westfall.
Donald Max “Woody” O’Haver graduated college from Evansville Indiana with an Associates Degree. He was a member of the Elk Lodge in Vincennes, Indiana. He loved his family very much, spending time with the love of his life Maggie he always cherished the time they had together. Being on the golf course every chance he could get. He loved to play golf and spend time with his friends out on the course. He loved to fish, watch the Indianapolis Colts play football on a Sunday afternoon. IU was his favorite college basketball team. His most favorite dessert is a cherry delight. He will be deeply missed by all!
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery 919 Willow Street Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Ray Tromley. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Vincennes, Indiana.
Pallbearers will be JC Collins, Jarod Collins, Jayton Collins, Jevyn Collins, Michael Hoskins, JD Stevens, and Taylor Stevens.
Memorial may be made to the Elks Club in Vincennes, Indiana in honor of him.

  8. I recall Donald from Bruceville High School. He and his family lived a few houses from my home place in Bruceville when I was a young guy. Shot basketballs at the ball court at school. My condolences.
