Donald G. Mayfield, 63 of 2515 Circle Drive, Utica, Ky. died on May 11, 2005 at his home. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Jerome Mayfield. Also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Mayfield and his wife, Sharon L. Griffith Mayfield in February 1999. He was employed at Ernie Davis Mechanical as a plumber. He enjoyed guns, turkey shoots, loved riding his motorcycle, enjoyed nascar, spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his mother, Juanitta Mayfield Rhodes of Owensboro, Ky., sons; Jeff Mayfield and his wife, Stephanie of Owensboro, Scott Mayfield and his wife, Tara of Henderson; daughters; Terri Boone and her husband, Jerry of Owensboro, Wendi Humphrey and her husband, Todd of Masonville; ten grandchildren; six brothers; Carl Mayfield and his wife, Barbara of Whitesville, Leamon Mayfield and his wife, Sandra of Owensboro, Eddie Mayfield of Missiouri, Roger Mayfield and his wife, Debbie of Patesville, Ky., Shelby Mayfield of Owensboro, Denny Mayfield and his wife, Norma of Louisville; five sisters; Charlotte Jones and her husband, Bill of Louisville, Betty Clark and her husband, Harold of Owensboro, Brenda Howard of Owensboro, Lois Booker and her husband, Tony of Owensboro, Carolyn Elliott and her husband, Barney of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 11am. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, visitation from 3 to 8pm. Thursday and 9 to 11am. Friday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Reverend Alva Wilson will be officiating.
