  1. I grew up with Denise. Sane neighborhood, school, and later in life had the privilege of working with her in Mortgage Lending. She was a kind, caring and very intelligent person with a heart like gold. She worked hard for many years in the Mortgage industry and was one of the best underwriters and coworkers I ever had the privilege to work with. I hold many fond memories in my heart and mind of her. God bless her family during this time. Continued prayers for you all.

  2. Denise touched our lives at a very young age as we watched her grow as a sweet little neighbor. Our hearts break with her passing. May God grant her eternal rest.

  3. She was a sweetie and so kind. One of God’s best!

I feel privileged to have known her.

    Rest In Peace Sweet Girl

  4. So many fond memories of my sweet cousin Denise. We would always talk about how we played at grandmas for hours on end when we were kids. Especially the day we played in the tent. I hadn’t talked to Denise since July. We had such a nice talk as usual. I will miss our talks. It just breaks my heart. Prayers to Uncle Ed, your mom, Dennis, and Keith. Rest in peace sweetie.

  5. Denise had been a 6th grade student of mine, Mr. Erny, and Mr. Martin at Franklin Elementary School. In the photo that accompanies her obituary here, it was heartening to see that her great big smile and pleasant countenance had not changed even these years later. I remember those well, along with her intelligence and easy way of getting along with others. It is good to know that she was one who valued the everyday things in life, such as her home and gardening. Plus, I have noted here that we shared a love of animals. To all who loved her, I want to express my sympathy for your profound loss of Denise.

  6. Herta, I am so so sad to learn of your loss. I fondly remember Denise bopping in and out of Dr. Whaley’s office when he was off of second street and the middle school was downtown. Denise carried your genuine smile! And I never ran into her that she didn’t have a smile, just how I remember you! 💔. Again so sorry. Lifting you all in our prayers. Tim and Tamra (Tammy Anderson) Wonning

  7. Ed, Dennis and family-
I had the privilege of going to school with Denise. She was truly one of the most genuine, sincere and kindest of friends. I am so very sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained a precious angel.

  8. I had the privilege of working with Denise for the last 12 years. I cannot say enough about how smart and capable she was, her work ethic, dedication and importantly her kindness and sense of humor. The world has lost a truly great person. I was fortunate to attend her services and meet all of her wonderful family and friends. My heart is broken for her Mom, Keith, Dennis and her entire family. Rest in peace, Denise.
