David Stilger, 71, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away April 20, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born January 28, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Clarence John Stilger, Sr. and Ruby Pauline Mattingly Stilger.

David, also known as Super Dave, always had a great sense of humor. He loved his dog, Rosie. David was honest and a man of his word. He made friends with everyone; he never met a stranger!

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie Rogers.

David is survived by his siblings, Ray Stilger of Louisville, Kentucky and Clarence (Danica) Stilger, Jr. of Mustang, Oklahoma, his nieces Rajena Stilger Judd and Ashley (Eric) Stilger Coy, his longtime family friend Sherry Chamberlain, along with numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday, April 25, 2022 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at a later date at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery

    I will remember your smiling face and that you were always humble, kind, and funny with everyone you met. You did not have an easy nor carefree life, but you were much loved and cared for. Thank you for your sweet presence and for the always great memories, now too few and far between. May the angles lead you to paradise and may you rest in peace. Amen.

  2. Dave was awesome in my book, a one of a kind. If the world only had a few more people like Dave what a difference it would see for the good. My memories covers many decades and he was a humble honest man. Only thing left to say Dave is thank you for being you.
