He always made sure everyone was happy, and was always incredibly generous. David was a jack of all trades and could build anything. Prayers will follow, with Father Mike Williams and David’s good friend, Keith Withrow officiating. The family requests that you please come by to show your love during this time of physical distancing. Your participation is important to us! 1. David was a great business man and leader. He will be missed by all of his fellow BNi members past and present.

  2. Jacqueline Bennett- Dear Mary & Merrick.
David will be so missed by all of us here at Blue Star Restoration and by all those he served in this community! May God bring you peace & healing.

    • David did not just work at Bluestar, he was Bluestar. It would have never made it this far had he not been at the helm the majority of the time. They’ll never be another to fill his shoes in the same leadership manner as he did himself. I had the honor of working with him on his marketing and not only did he have great business knowledge, he also was one of the most honest souls I have met. Would always tell you like it was and had some of the wildest stories I have ever heard from his time in the restoration business. When you lead by example, roll up your sleeves and get in the trenches with your people, they notice it. He was trusting of the key leadership he surrounded himself with…perhaps to a fault in the end. However, God sorts it all out.

His passing is a sad day for this community, to those that loved him, admired him, and felt the generosity from his kind heart. He loved his family and talked of his son often. He will be greatly missed by many

  23. David worked on our previous house in early 2017. He was always professional, but more than that he was always kind with us. I could tell that he cared very much about his work and his clients. I felt confident that he was always honest and upfront and that he had our best interest at heart. That is so rare these days. Even though my interactions with David were brief, I will always remember him for his outstanding qualities. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his wife, son, family, friends and all who cared for him. This is a great loss for the community.

  26. David has always been like a brother to me. He and I and Merek and Mary used to have soo much fun fishing and riding their pontoon in NC at Bellows Creek.

He hired me 21 years ago into the restoration industry of which I now own my own. He even sent me 2 large jobs in Kentucky and we came down and spent time at their home. I will TRULY miss my best buddy.
Mary and Merek, please know that you are in my prayers and I love you both.

    Jeff Robinson. Greensboro, NC.

  35. Words cannot express how I feel. David was an amazing husband and father. He loved his family and he expressed them in so many ways. He was a kind and gentle man. If Mary or Merek need anything I am a phone call away.

  36. Please add my name and my wife Kay’s name to the growing list of friends who knew and loved David and who are praying for Mary and Merek during this difficult time. It was my honor, pleasure, and blessing to know and work with David in the restoration business in Greensboro some years ago. He was a true friend and honorable professional who proudly loved his wife, son, and other family members. Until we meet him again in heaven, we can all know that he has gone ahead of us to restore a place for us up there himself to be sure it is just right when we get there.
