Curtis A. Hornaday passed away from this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the age of 81. He was born on Saturday June 1, 1940, in Montgomery, Indiana.
Those left to cherish his memories include daughter Linda Eisenhut, son Kenneth Hornaday with Jan Barrow, three grandchildren Cody Hornaday, Ciara Hornaday, Kayla Eisenhut, one great grandson Everett Hornaday, one brother Marvin Hornaday, four step grandchildren Timothy Sorensen, Shawnie Hurst, Jordon Barrow, Jonah Barrow, three step great grandchildren Kutter, Killian, Everlee, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life and best friend of 58 years Janet Hornaday, father Roger Hornaday, mother Leola Allen Hornaday, one brother Clarence Hornaday, and one sister Carol Vowell.
Curtis A. Hornaday joined the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Married the love of his life Janet, on October 28, 1962, in Indiana. He was on the RTC board for thirty years and was a farmer for all his life. He attended church also. He loved the outdoors very much. Driving farm equipment from tractors to backhoes was his passion. He loved his family very much. He loved to work and stay busy. Mushroom hunting was one of his hobbies he loved to do when he had time. He will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Curtis A. Hornaday will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State Street Washington, Indiana. Internment will follow in the Oak Grove Reeve Township Cemetery in Glendale, Indiana. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Washington Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday April 25, 2022, at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State Street Washington Indiana from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
