Crystal Saldana went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the age of 37 and was born on Wednesday, February 29, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois.

Those left to cherish her memories include her beautiful children that she loved dearly; son Luis Gabriel Saldana, daughter Evelyn Nichole Saldana, brother Antony Gonterman, sister Lecha Martinez, sister Diana Avalos, sister Elizabeth Avalos, brother Mark Avalos, brother Manuel Avalos, step sister Tina Williams, step sister, Amy Keller, step sister Angela Helderman, father Macario Avalos, step mom Juna Avalos, nephew Adrian Martinez, 2 aunts Carmie, Rachel, best friend Tessa Hutson along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Candace Cox, brother Miguel Gonterman, step dad Thomas Cox and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Washington, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Under the direction of Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, Washington, Indiana.

Crystal Saldana graduated from North Knox High School. She then went on to college later in life and graduated from a university in Florida with an associate’s degree. She worked at Dr. Parsons Dentist office for many years and everyone that went to the dentist office loved to see her and talk to her. She always had a smile on her face. She was dedicated to her children. They were her life. Everywhere you saw Crystal you would see her children by her side. Crystal loved crafts, drawing, flowers and loved being outside. In high school she loved to play softball and she was great at too. She will be deeply missed by all!

Memorials may be made to her children through the Bethany Church in Washington, Indiana in honor of Crystal.
