Charlie Kenneth Smith age 78 of Edmonton passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.   Charlie was the son of the late Howard Preston and Beatrice Evelyn Syra Smith.   Charlie was of the Baptist faith and attended the Trinity Christian Outreach Church.      He is survived by one sister and two brothers.   Lola Curry of Edmonton.   Lewis Underwood “Wood” Smith and wife Betty of Edmonton and Leroy Smith of Tompkinsville.   Several nieces and nephews also survive.   Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jim Russell Smith and three nephews.   David Harris, Jeff Smith and Mike Smith.    Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM  Monday  limited to immediate family only at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Joe Field Cemetery.    Due to current Covid-19 Crisis the funeral will be limited and a walk through visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM  Saturday, after 9:00 AM Sunday and Monday.    Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted to care of Charlie Smith.  Please share your condolences with the family at www.butler-funeralhome.com.

  6. I know I’m late, but I wasn’t aware. Charlie used to give his testimony every Sunday at Grace Union Baptist Church when I was a child.
