Charles William Donahue, 73, off 1439 West 5th Street, died on Friday, January 2, 2004 at his home. He was born on March 18, 1930 in Daviess County, KY to Christine Woodward and Virgle A. Donahue, retired from Modern Welding as a machine operator after 37 years, was a member of the Catholic Faith and loved horses and watching sports. Preceeding him in death was his wife, Mary E. Donahue who died on November 18, 1995 a son, Robert Keith Donahue in 1981, and a daughter, Mary Donahue Griffin in 1994. Surviving is a son, William Terry Donahue of Owensboro, three daughters, Brenda Lee Long, Charlene Donahue, and Peggy Ann Lamm all of Owensboro. Also surviving his mother, Christine Pike and stepfather, William Pike both of Owensboro, 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, a brother, Thomas V. Donahue of Owensboro, two sisters, Linda Sue Payne and Betty Jo Whitmer both of Owensboro.
