Carlon Gillim, passed away 4-16-05 at Hillcrest Health Care Center. He was born in Narrows, KY to the late Erville and Edith Gillim. He grew up in Hartford and retired from Peabody Coal Co., after 28 years as a maintenance foreman. He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church. Mr. Gillim is survived by his wife, Barbara Gary Gillim, one son, Jeffrey Gilliam of Sacramento, and two daughters and their husbands, Clark & Kay Phillip of Charleston, S.C., John & Carla Pearce of Austin, Texas, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and five brothers: Griffith & Glendon Gillim of Rosine, Ray & Russell Gillim of Hartford and Eddie Gillim of Owensboro. Five sisters: his twin sister, Sue Underwood of Evansville, Ramona Grant of Hartford, Linda Ebdleman of Fla., and Donita Miller of Nashville and Judy Carter of Hopkinsville.

  1. Barbara- I was out of town over the weekend and didn’t know Carlon had passed away until today. I wanted you to know I will be thinking of you and praying for you and your family today.

  2. I am sorry to hear about your dad, but he is with our maker God, so all is as it suppose to be. I pray God gives you and your family the strength you need to get you through the coming months.
