Annettia 'Jo' Skaggs Fulkerson Meme 86, of Owensboro, passed away 2-12-06 at Harborside Nursing Home. She was born 5-19-19, in Daviess County, to the late George Cooper and Gillie Brown Cooper. She was retired from General Electirc after 27 years of service. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church, a charter member of Apollo Heights Baptist Church and a current member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a proud Republican. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lonnie Skaggs and Lafe Fulkerson. A son, Norman Skaggs, a son-in-law, Jimmy Hale. Brothers, Rowan and William Watts and Nat Cooper. Sisters, Marie Beckhart, Dorothy Fulkerson and Georgie Mae Henning. Mrs. Fulkerson is survived by a daughter, Carol Hale and her children, Paula Caldwell, Jenni Burch, Mike Hale, Leslie Roach and her husband, Eddie, Lori Huff and her husband, Brian. A daughter, Ruth Baisden, and her children, Stephanie Baisden, Eric Baisden, Wade and his wife, Cheryl, Shawn Wade and Steven McClure. Sons, Clarence Skaggs and his wife, Vicky and his children, Brad and Sherri, Greg Skaggs and Todd Skaggs, children of Norman Skaggs. 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Many nieces and nephews.
