Anna Katherine Kittinger Sharp, 93 formerly of Owensboro, Ky.of Arlington, Texas died on August 8, 2004 at her home in Arlington, Texas. She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Oppie and Lelia Drake Kittinger. Was retired as music teacher after 40years., a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church were she played the violin for 40yrs., sunday school teacher, director of children choir, member of saturday musical dept. of Owensboro Women Club, WMU of Buena Vista Baptist Church, graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of music. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Sharp who died on August 22, 1963, three brothers; Albert, Oscar and Cecil Kittinger. Surviving are her daughters; Suzanne Mitchell and her husband, Richard of Arlington, Texas, Linda Stockton and her husband, George of Murray, Kentucky, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, and one sister, Gladys Chinn of Owensboro, Ky. Services are at 1:00pm. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel, visitation from 11:00 to 1:00pm. Thursday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Reverend Bruce Treon will be officiating.
